Project Overview

This side view shows a public space themed on the solar system that uses dry, resilient plants. As seen from the left of the design the micro-climate is formed by the dark grey stone of a heat wall for frost tender plants. Veils of tall white and purple flower spikes and thistle heads emerge in summer, with silvery-green foliage evoking a crescent moon. Orbiting to the right are comets, aluded to by burnt orange frontage and whispy grasses at the tail.
